![]() ![]() The 1999 Genesis FFI factory original wire harness is known to develop corrosion at the many wire splices and especially the black wires in the grounding harness. After 1999 Polaris switched to a compensation mapped injectors+EMM system, so the 2000-2004 Ficht injectors are all slightly different and flow matched to the individual EMM. If you ever need to swap out the 1999 EMM for a different year EMM, the injectors must also be swapped out. These fuel injectors are unique to 1999 Genesis FFI engines, as is the EMM. 2000-2004 use a simpler and more normal exhaust exit into the pump tunnel cavity.ġ999 Genesis FFI Ficht is the only model and year where the fuel injectors are 100% matched, all the 1999 fuel injectors are exactly the same. The 1999 Genesis has a unique exhaust system with dual exhaust exits under the waterline, below the hull. First year for the Genesis four person hull, first year for the FFI fuel injection. I know that a number of changes were introduced in 2002. looked online and could not find anything specifically for the 1999 model year. Weekend water test showed it ran well, started easily, top speed 62mph.īut there is no Owners Manual or Service Manual. Otherwise, everything is in good working condition: gauges/buttons, electric reverse, throttle cable, starter. Hull is in near perfect condition, needs one segment of foot pads, rear seat is fading, but still in ok condition. He put in a new CDI box, replaced all fuel lines, cleaned the carbs, new AGM battery. bought from a jetski mechanic who did a full service on it this year. ![]()
